About Thomas Gloag
Tom Gloag will ride for the World Tour formation of Team Visma | Lease a Bike in 2023. In the autumn of 2022, the youngster participated in one-day races in Italy as a trainee for the team. He even crossed the finish line at Gran Piemonte and Tre Valli alongside the top riders. By winning the youth classification in the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana, Gloag immediately showed his talent. Three months later, the young rider helped Primoz Roglic to his first overall victory in the Giro d'Italia. After almost a year of injury, Gloag returned to the peloton in the Czech Republic in the summer of 2024. The British rider celebrated his comeback with a fantastic solo in the third stage of the Czech Tour and thus grabbed his first professional victory. Gloag is under contract with the Dutch cycling team until 2025.
