About Sophie von Berswordt
The 28-year-old Sophie von Berswordt rode her first mountain bike races at World Cup level in 2017. In 2018, she finished sixth at the World Mountain Bike Championships. In the following years, she participated in all European and world championships. Participation in the Olympics fell just short. The athlete then decided to broaden her horizons. Since January 1, 2024 she has been part of Team Visma | Lease a Bike and showed her qualities in the spring classics. She rode a rock-solid Paris-Roubaix Femmes and finished fourteenth.
