Henderson crowned British time trial champion for second time in career

Anna Henderson today crowned herself British time trial champion for the second time in her career. The 25-year-old rider from Team Visma | Lease a Bike was by far the fastest on the course in Catterick.

It is the second national time trial title for Henderson, who was previously the best in 2021. On the 30-kilometer course, she was more than half a minute faster than the first competitor.

"This is a huge boost," Henderson declared. "It's a very big honor to grab this title. 2024 is a tough year for me, having broken my collarbone twice. So in more ways than one, this win is super welcome. I want to thank my team and my family for the support over the past period. Everything came together today, which enabled me to grab the title. I am very much looking forward to riding in this beautiful jersey in the coming year."
