Team Jumbo-Visma creates a statue of Wout van Aert

During our partnership with Bianchi we’ve written great stories. Many of these stories have been highlighted over the past few days through various media.

One story that was missing was the story behind Wout van Aert’s Strade Bianche victory. That victory was so special to us, that we didn’t want to auction off that particular Bianchi bike.

But that doesn’t mean we can leave this story untold in our farewell to Bianchi after a partnership of seven years. That’s why we made a statue of Wout and his bicycle. Specifically the moment they passed the finish at the Piazza del Campo in Siena.

Earlier this morning we visited Wout to surprise him with the final result. His reaction speaks for itself. It is a present from the team and all its riders to our retiring partner Bianchi, featuring a moment this team is proud of and which raised our spirits during the past season.

Some other iconic Bianchi bicycles are available for auction, ending today on www.continuetheride.bike.
