Wout's year of extremes

Wout's year of extremes

The fantastic sporting year of Wout van Aert ended in a nightmare. His podium spots in the spring classics and victories in the Dauphine and Tour de France were magnificent. His crash in Tour, in the time trial to Pau, turned his world upside down for a moment. He is now optimally preparing for the new season. View Wout's year of extremes here.

Spring classics

Third in the Strade Bianche, sixth in Milan-San Remo, second in the E3 BinckBank Classic. Moreover, Wout showed himself also in front during the Tour of Flandres and Paris-Roubaix.

Critérium du Dauphiné & Belgian championships

Winner of the individual time trail and a bunch sprint in the Dauphiné. On top of that, Wout also became national time trial champion of Belgium and he took a third place in the Belgium's national road race.

The majestic victory in the team time trial and the win in the through echolons dominated stage to Albi.
