Two days de Ronde van Drenthe

Two days de Ronde van Drenthe

De Ronde van Drenthe guarantees a tough, but beautiful race every year. Almost 166 kilometers for the women on Saturday, more than 196 kilometers for the men on Sunday. A look back.

On Saturday: women

The riders braved sixteen kilometers of cobblestone strips and climbed the VAM Mountain four times. Romy Kasper was the fastest on the unpaved roads and won the Cobblestone Prize. Riejanne Markus was the best climber and won the BAM Mountain Prize.

On Sunday: men

Unfortunately there was no podium place for Team Jumbo-Visma, but three riders did finish in the top 10: Timo Roosen (4th), Mick van Dijcke (6th) and Rick Pluimers (10th). Sports director Robert Wagner concluded with satisfaction that his riders were very strong as a group.
