In pictures: Overall victory in Paris-Nice and sprint victory in Tirreno-Adriatico

Matteo Jorgenson won Paris-Nice for the second consecutive year last week. The entire team delivered a top performance in France, starting with a win in the team time trial. Olav Kooij won the fourth stage of Tirreno-Adriatico in Italy. Relive the stage races below in pictures.

The first two stages of ‘the race to the sun’ ended in mass sprints, where Axel Zingle put on strong performances, finishing fifth and sixth, respectively. The first real highlight of the week came in the third stage: the team time trial. The whole team did fantastic work, from the start at the Circuit Nevers Magny-Cours until the finish line. With a 14-second lead over Jayco AlUla, the riders won the time trial, and Matteo claimed the yellow leader's jersey.

Resilience and GC win

After the withdrawal of Jonas Vingegaard, the riders showed resilience the following day, taking control of the race. The planned strategy was executed to perfection. Under harsh conditions, the riders opened the race around 60 kilometers from the finish. Crosswinds created gaps in the peloton, with our team fully represented in the front group of seventeen. Thanks to excellent teamwork, the gap to the first chasing group grew to nearly two minutes. In the final weekend, the yellow jersey was no longer in danger. Matteo sealed the overall victory with a second-place finish in Nice, completing the team's strong performance.

Tirreno-Adriatico

Olav was our sprinter in Italy. The 'Cheetah from Numansdorp' got the three opportunities to sprint for victory. He finished fourth, third, and first, respectively. He claimed a strong victory in the fourth stage after a chaotic ride under heroic conditions. Simon Yates made his debut in the black and yellow colours.
