From Morzine to Carcassonne: the conquest of the yellow in pictures

Our riders shone in the Tour de France last week. The highlight was the stage victory and the conquest of the yellow jersey by Jonas Vingegaard. Unfortunately, the team also had setbacks due to the DNS of Primoz Roglic and a crash of Steven Kruijswijk. Time to look back!

Stage 10: Morzine - Megéve

Calm before the storm before two days in the Alps. Christophe Laporte was in the leading group but had to let go on the final climb. Vingegaard finished in the group of favorites

Stage 11: Albertville - Col du Granon

The master plan succeeded! After great teamwork, Vingegaard lost everyone on the final climb and captured the yellow jersey.

Stage 12: Briançon - Alpe d'Huez

Party time again on the Alpe d'Huez! Vingegaard was able to parry Tadej Pogacar's attacks perfectly, after which the two classification riders finished in the same time.

Stage 13: Le Bourg d'Oisans - Saint-Étienne

The victory was for an escapee today. The riders of Team Jumbo-Visma got through the day unscathed. Wout van Aert extended his lead in the points classification and Vingegaard kept the yellow jersey.

Stage 14: Saint-Étienne - Mende

A tough stage. Vingegaard was put to the test by Pogacar, but he fought back bravely. The yellow jersey was not in danger.

Stage 15: Rodez - Carcasonne

This stage started with a major setback, as Primoz Roglic did not start due to previous injuries. There was also bad luck along the way. Steven Kruijswijk crashed and had to get out. Not much later, Vingegaard and Tiesj Benoot also hit the asphalt. Fortunately they were able to continue their way. Van Aert finished second and is still well ahead in the points classification. Vingegaard managed to keep his lead over Pogacar.
