The faithful servant: three years of Nathan Van Hooydonck in pictures

Last October, Nathan Van Hooydonck was forced to put a stop to his professional career. It was a great loss for the team. Although the Belgian rider was never the first to cross the line, he has played an important part in many victories for Team Jumbo-Visma. We look back through a photo album.

2021

In his first year on the team, Van Hooydonck immediately showed his qualities. In Gent-Wevelgem, he was an important pylon in Wout van Aert's victory. In the last grand tour of the year, the Belgian had a big part in Primoz Roglic's third overall victory in La Vuelta a España.

2022

In Omloop het Nieuwsblad, E3 Saxo Bank Classic, and Paris-Nice, Van Hooydonck was an important link in his team's victories. Nevertheless, his biggest success had yet to follow. The Belgian was part of the Tour squad that gave Team Jumbo-Visma its first overall victory in the biggest race of the year.

2023

With a second place in Kuurne - Brussel - Kuurne, Van Hooydonck again showed his good form. He continued this form in the following races. His highlight of 2023 followed on July 23 in Paris, where Team Jumbo-Visma won the Tour de France for the second time.
