Ever since 2020, Tim van Dijke has been a part of Team Visma | Lease a Bike. First two years at the Development Team, but from 2022 he is one of the riders of the WorldTour-Team. After five years in the service of the team, the Dutch rider is now leaving, together with his brother Mick, for another team. Relive Tim's best moments one more time in the photo albums below.
Tim's first three years with the team
In 2022, during Tim's second year with Team Visma | Lease a Bike Development, Tim rides to the Dutch U23 title. Just a few days earlier, he finished second in the time trial, five seconds behind twin brother Mick. Later that year, Tim wins the final stage of the CRO Race, a race that mostly features WorldTour riders.
In mid-2022, Tim is the fastest in the short prologue of the Sibiu Cycling Tour. As a result, he even briefly rides in the leader's jersey. He is also the best climber in the Sazka Tour, and wins the team time trial of the Tour de l'Avenir with his compatriots.
Tim's last two years with the team
2023 has many new races in store for Tim. He is there in both the Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix. Besides a lot of nice places of honor, he is also part of the team that wins the final classification of the Gree-Tour of Guangxi, a WorldTour race, with Milan Vader.
In 2024, Tim experiences his absolute breakthrough. Once again he rides the Tour of Flanders and Paris - Roubaix, in which he even seems to be on his way to a top ten classification. However, the jury drops him to 16th place. Tim also makes his debut in a major tour. In the Giro d'Italie he guides Olav Kooij to his first stage victory in a three-week race. After Olav went home sick, Tim took care of the remaining bunch sprints for Team Visma | Lease a Bike. This earned the youngster a top five spot twice.
