Lazer helmets

Lazer helmets

Genesis, Bullet 2.0 and Volante are the names of Lazer’s helmets with which the riders and riders of the World Tour team, Women’s Team and Development Team will be seen next season. The helmets can be admired in a slightly different colour scheme compared to last year. The three variants are explained below with the help of text and photos.

Lazer Genesis

The Lazer Genesis is one of the lightest helmets in the pack. The helmet ventilates very well. This keeps the head cool and comfortable in hot conditions. Especially in warm weather and during mountain rides the Genesis has an extra added value due to the ventilation and the weight.

Lazer Bullet 2.0

Lazer’s sprint helmet, the Bullet 2.0, is very aerodynamic and ensures less air resistance. The helmet has an adjustable ventilation which makes it possible to wear the helmet in warm conditions. In addition, the helmet is provided with the first name of the respective athlete. The Bullet 2.0 is mainly worn in sprint finishes because of its aerodynamics.

Lazer Volante

In 2020 Team Jumbo-Visma used the Lazer Volante in time trials. After a lot of testing and measuring in the wind tunnel, Lazer and the team achieved the best result. For example, Wout van Aert already became Belgian time trial champion and he finished second at the World Championships time trial.
