AGU also eyewear partner Team Jumbo-Visma
The Dutch WorldTour Team Jumbo-Visma and the Dutch cycling clothing and accessory brand AGU have expanded their collaboration. On top of being the official supplier for cycling apparel and accessories, AGU will also provide the riders with glasses for a minimum period of four years.
Richard Plugge, director of Team Jumbo-Visma: “We are very enthusiastic about the AGU clothing innovations and the start of our partnership in 2019. AGU provides us with the fastest kit in the peloton. The fact that the riders are so enthusiastic is simply a confirmation that we’re with the right partner. We are very proud extending this intensive collaboration with AGU.”
The riders will get a wide range of the best glasses, which AGU has developed in collaboration with Team Jumbo-Visma. Thanks to the latest technologies, the riders are able to perform in an optimal way and have a better view on the road wearing these glasses than without them. The glasses are equipped with the 2nd generation AGU HD lenses. The improved colour contrast provides a sharper image because depth and details can be seen better. Thanks to the anti-fog treatment, the lenses do not fog up and dirt and water are repelled by hydrophobic technology
"We are very enthusiastic about the AGU clothing innovations and the start of our partnership in 2019."
Björn Jeurissen, CEO of AGU: “developing products with this top team is a great experience. The fact that riders like Tom Dumoulin, Dylan Groenewegen and Primoz Roglic ride in AGU clothing, use AGU glasses and give their feedback, challenges us to continuously improve, test and develop further. Of course we will make these products available for all cyclists in our collections.”
Besides the performance glasses the collection also contains casual glasses. The BLVD glasses are already available, the other Team Jumbo-Visma glasses will be added to the AGU collection from March and can be pre-ordered at website of AGU.
